On Thursday, October 24th, ION – the national broadcast partner to WNBA and NWSL as well as TV’s most popular drama series – will put viewers front and center as they bring their programming to life at Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal through the “Fan ConnectION” brand experience. From the courtroom to center court, consumers will have the opportunity to get into the heart of the action and engage with their favorite shows and stars in real life across a series of interactive activations:

Meet and Greet with Megan Rapinoe & Sue Bird (11:00am ET): Olympic gold medalists Megan Rapinoe (NWSL) and Sue Bird (WNBA) will appear for an exclusive fan meet and greet experience where guests will have the opportunity to snap a photo with the iconic duo.

Live Sketch Artist Interrogation Rooms: Fans can step into the world of ION’s procedural and crime solving shows by having a forensic sketch artist mock up a real-life criminal sketch.

WNBA Photo Moment: The art of women’s basketball will be captured in all of its record-breaking excitement and intensity through an interactive basketball installation with an opportunity to take fun photos as fans can immerse themselves into the world of the WNBA.

Surveillance Installation: The high stakes investigations come to life in this interactive surveillance installation filled with screens, showing ION programming as well as live video of guests in the space, making them wonder – where are the cameras?

NWSL Take Your Shot: Visitors can step up to the Penalty Kick stripe and take part in a game-ending shootout where guests can clinch a win for one of the league’s franchises. ION Merch Bar: Screen-printed ION tote bags will be available for visiting guests (while supplies last).
