16-05-2019 12:00:00 19-05-2019 12:00:00 America/New_York Soaking WET Soaking WET, the dance series curator by David Parker and produced by Jeffrey Kazin, announce the May 16-19 performances o Soaking WET, featuring all female casts of creators and performers, led by choreographers Ellis Wood and Kate Digby, and writer Erika Batdorf. Program A: Ellis Wood Dance, May 16, 17 & 18 at 7 PM & Sunday May 19 at 2 PM. The Company will premiere "Earthbound," in which the dancers create various spaces by moving structures to form pathways, rooms and surfaces. Within these boundaries, they explore physical and emotional states of being such as heaviness, ecstasy, and confusion. Program B: Kate Digby, choreographer and Erika Batdorf, writer, May 16, 17 & 18 at 8:30 PM. The collaborators will present "The Red Horse is Leaving," written by Batdorf and inspired by the journals of her mother Thaya Whitten.
