Yiddishland on the Road: Community Klezmer Day
Celebrate the warmth and light of the season on Sunday, December 15, at 1:00 PM ET.
Enjoy a spirited program with sing-alongs to beloved and new Khanike lider, entertaining skits, and moving readings by a stellar lineup of performers: Judy Bressler, Zisl and Dinele Slepovitch, Deborah Strauss and Jeff Warschauer, Psoy Korolenko, Cindy Paley, Annie Cohen, Motl Didner, Miri Koral, Sheva Zucker, Gustavo Emos, Clara Greif, Josh Horowitz, Adrianne Greenbaum, Dylan Seders Hoffman, Christina Crowder, Rachel Weston, Gitty Jakubo, Ava Silverman, Lindsey Bloom, Olive Benito, and special surprise guests!
Plus, enter our exciting raffle for a chance to win complimentary registration for our Winter in Yiddishland day pass and spring Yiddish classes.

Zilyin: Master klezmer clarinetist and celebrated dance musician from Réunion (FR), in a rare New York in-person appearance.
Deborah Strauss: Renowned klezmer violinist, Yiddish dance leader, and Workers Circle Yiddish Culture Organizer.
Aaron Alexander: Acclaimed klezmer drummer, violinist, educator, and Director of the New York Klezmer Series.

Community Klezmer Band Workshop 2:30 – 3:45 PM ET
Join Aaron Alexander, Deborah Strauss, and special guest Zilyin Biret, in a collaborative rehearsal designed for musicians of all skill levels.
Yiddish Dance for Everyone 4:00 – 5:00 PM ET
Dance to live klezmer music by the Community Klezmer Band, featuring Zilyin Biret, with expert dance guidance from Deborah Strauss.
Location: West Side Jewish Center, 347 West 34th Street (Between 8th & 9th Ave.) Khanike treats will be served.
*Advance tickets are $10 and include discounted admission for Workers Circle members, seniors, and students. Day-of tickets are suggested at $18, but the $10 rate remains available for high school/college students, seniors, and Workers Circle members.
