Crockpot Comedy: Summertime, Music & Stand-Up
CROCKPOT COMEDY: SUMMERTIME, MUSIC & STAND-UP Crockpot Comedy began when two Pennsylvania stand-up comedians moved to Jersey City and quickly started a cool, exciting showcase at Pet Shop in 2018. It’s become Jersey City’s craziest comedy party and now is popping in on White Eagle Hall for some feel-good Summer awesomeness, featuring house band Black Force and The Docs plus some of the funniest, most 'big deal' comedians that have graced the Crockpot stage. Join Nate Marshall, Alex Grubard, Alex Nicholas plus Black Force and The Docs on Thursday, August 31st at White Eagle Hall for a monster edition of Jersey City’s favorite stand-up showcase, CROCKPOT COMEDY: SUMMERTIME, MUSIC & STAND-UP!
Featuring:
ARIEL ELIAS
Described as, “a sly young comic from Kentucky,” by the New York Times, Ariel has also been featured in Rolling Stone, the Washington Post, and on Good Morning America. She has performed on the set of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and was named a “New Face” at the 2021 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. After catching Jimmy Kimmel’s attention with a viral stand-up clip that displayed her cool, calm and hilarious composure, Ariel made her late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live. When not performing comedy, she’s probably petting a dog or struggling through a puzzle.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Rojo began performing stand-up comedy at age 20-years-old in Florida before moving to NYC. In 2021, Rojo made his network debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, was also featured in Comedy Central’s Tight Five and served as a writer on Netflix’s Drink Masters. In April 2019, Rojo formed part of HBO’s special Entre Nos: Spot On. Rojo’s stand-up television debut was on CONAN in 2017 and he has been a cast member on MTV’s Decoded, Comedy Central’s Funny ‘Cause It’s True, TruTV’s Comedy Knockout and Univision’s FLAMA. Rojo Perez has performed at festivals including Just For Laughs, SXSW, Moontower and Akumal Comedy Festival in Mexico. His debut album “Words” is streaming now on all platforms.

She has performed on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, CONAN on TBS, Comedy Central’s Clusterfest, SF Sketchfest and has written for The Sex Lives of College Girls on HBOMax and BJ Novak’s The Premise. Listen for her voice on an upcoming animated show from Ramy Youssef on Amazon.
DAVE TEMPLE
Originally from Philadelphia, Dave Temple began stand-up as a challenge amongst friends. Dave brings an unadulterated view on life and his immediate surroundings with a poignancy that is unparalleled and leaves every single audience in stitches. Dave has appeared on TruTV’s LaffMobb LaffTracks, Showtime at the Apollo, VH1 Live and Gotham Comedy Live as well as appearances on popular podcasts including Stavvy’s World and Are You Garbage?
