The Arts and Cultural Festival presented by US STREAM INTERNATIONAL INC., a 501(c)(3) organization is dedicated to fostering artistic dialogue by bringing together world-class musicians and dancers from different cultural backgrounds. This inaugural event marks the beginning of an annual tradition that celebrates the unifying power of the arts.

This festival is a testament to the power of the arts to unite communities and foster meaningful dialogue across generations. It highlights the beauty of cultural exchange and the transformative nature of artistic expression, offering an inspiring platform for intergenerational collaboration and creativity.

The evening will bring together performances by world-class artists from different cultural backgrounds followed by a breathtaking grand finale by Korean-born Kathak dancer, tabla player, and performing artist, Ms. Jin Won.

Event Highlights: 🎶 "Arirang Alone" – A moving youth ensemble performance featuring Eunbii Jeon (flute), Mckayla Kim (violin), and Adam Yastion (euphonium), led by jazz pianist Andy Ezrin, merging Korean folk melodies with contemporary jazz. 🎵 Jazz Piano Solo by Andy Ezrin – A mesmerizing performance of Hope Country, composed by Ezrin, a pianist known for his collaborations with Sting, Lady Gaga, and Chris Botti. 🎼 Gayageum Solo by Wonkyu Choi – A breathtaking showcase of the gayageum, Korea’s traditional 12-string instrument, performed by a virtuoso dedicated to preserving and innovating Korean musical heritage. 💃 Grand Finale: Kathak by Jin Won – A stunning display of Indian classical Kathak dance, where rhythm, movement, and storytelling converge in a dynamic and expressive performance embodying the spirit of global artistic collaboration.

Renowned for her dynamic and interactive Kathak performances, the New York Times has praised her as “an exuberant dancer whose musicality transforms her dancing into something primal.”

As a dedicated performer, educator, and organizer, Ms. Jin has spent over a decade engaging with diverse communities and contributing to Indian cultural organizations, believing in the power of art to unite societies. Most recently, she founded the Korean American Arts Council, fostering cross-cultural artistic dialogue and strengthening global artistic connections.

Her performance will be accompanied by dear Taalim faculty Mike Lukshis on the Tabla and Rohan Prabhudesai on the harmonium.
