Paris-based journalist and author Lindsey Tramuta will discuss her recently published book, "The New Parisienne: The Women & Ideas Shaping Paris". The book explores the impact that the women of Paris have had on the rapidly evolving culture of their city. She features women such as Leïla Slimani, Lauren Bastide, and Mayor Anne Hidalgo. The book lifts the veil on the mythologized Parisian woman, revealing Paris as a blossoming cultural center of feminine power.
FHS Board member and YPC Co-Chairman Maureen Nash will lead the conversation.

About Maureen Nash
Maureen M. Nash, a New Yorker currently based in Dijon, is a Founding Co-Chair of the Young Patrons Circle and a Board Director at the French Heritage Society. Maureen has led over $75 million in fundraising campaigns in the cultural sector including work at the New York Public Library, The Frick Collection, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Museum of Arts and Design, and Itzhak Perlman’s Music Program. Currently she is researching French and American board governance and philanthropy models at the Burgundy School of Business.
About French Heritage Society’s Young Patrons Circle FHS’s vibrant Young Patrons Circle (YPC) welcomes members ages 21-45 to support our missions of preservation, education, and cultural exchange while connecting with like-minded peers. The YPC is active in both Paris and New York City and membership includes access to both. Through our diverse programming we aim to cultivate our members’ love of French culture while also expanding the horizons of their knowledge, especially in the domains of luxury, fine art and artisanry, as well as French “art de vivre”. About French Heritage Society French Heritage Society is an American nonprofit organization with 10 chapters in the U.S. and one in France. Its central mission is to ensure that the treasures of our shared French architectural and cultural heritage survive in order to inspire future generations. Over the past 38 years, FHS has given over 600 restoration grants to properties throughout France and in the U.S. and selected and supported over 500 students from prestigious universities who have crossed the Atlantic for internships at esteemed institutions.
