CURRENT by Annie Saunders, an immersive soundwalk
This June, Arts Brookfield presents CURRENT, an interactive soundwalk through Lower Manhattan by award-winning interdisciplinary artist Annie Saunders and collaborators Andrew Schneider, Jackie! Zhou/One Thousand Birds and Marc Downie of OpenEndedGroup. CURRENT is open to the public from June 12 - October 1, 2021, running every 30 minutes from 5:30pm - 8:30pm daily, and the experience is approximately 60 minutes in length. From June 12-20, CURRENT will be a featured exhibition in Tribeca Festival lmmersive, a program from the Tribeca Festival highlighting experiences that push the boundaries of storytelling. The walk begins and ends in Zuccotti Park, Lower Manhattan. Listeners will take in notable markers such as Trinity Church, the New York Stock Exchange, and Battery Park throughout the experience during the 1.5 mile guided walk.
