When The World Sounds Like A Prayer
We are excited to announce that we’re partnering with St. Ann's Warehouse & Little Amal (The Walk) as part of #LittleAmalWalksNYC, a festival of art and hope to amplify the voices of marginalized people worldwide. Join us on Monday, September 26 at 6 PM to welcome Little Amal to our city. In Bryant Park, Little Amal will be welcomed to a special performance of The Creation, written by James Weldon Johnson, featuring master drummer Baba Don Babatunde and violinist Roen Emersyn Jones alongside EMERGE125 with Choreography by Tiffany Rea-Fisher, celebrating an art movement by which NYC is known all over the world: the Harlem Renaissance. Created by the Classical Theatre of Harlem. You can find Little Amal at stannswarehouse.org/amal
