MoMA Presents Outdoor Screening of Films from the Flaherty
The Museum of Modern Art will present selections from Continents of Drifting Clouds, the 67th Flaherty Film Seminar, at an outdoor screening in the Sculpture Garden at The Museum of Modern Art on August 17th, at 8:00 p.m. The Seminar showcases filmmakers whose works reflect the multiple realities and intrinsic relationships between the local and the global.
The seminar is a weeklong annual event dedicated to the most adventurous voices in nonfiction cinema. The works featured in this year’s program represent a paradigm shift, from ways of seeing to changing the ways we know.
This special screening in MoMA’s Sculpture Garden will be curated by Almudena Escobar López and Sky Hopinka.
More details and filmmakers in attendance will be announced here. Learn more about the Flaherty seminar at theflaherty.org.
