Good Vibes on the LES: August 2022
Spend the afternoon of Thursday August 11th exploring the street art, galleries, culture & history of the Lower East Side with Women of Culture Founder, Alexandra Harper. This walk features different galleries and new shows every time so that it’s new and different even for return attendees!
We will take in the unique sights, sounds, and tastes that make this neighborhood so interesting, with a focus on female artists and female-owned businesses. We will discuss the ever-changing history and immigrant-influenced cultures that make the areas so diverse and experience first-hand how they are representative of the true essence of the city as a whole.
This walk features stops at 3-4 galleries, all showing a diverse array of contemporary female artists. You will also learn about the local street art as we pass by a few favorite food purveyors, where snacks can be purchased for an additional cost.
This is a great opportunity to take a deep dive into one NYC's most vibrant and fascinating neighborhoods, learn about the history and meet new friends along the way.
