Ascension Day Press Release

The event consists of a film screening, A short documentary on the 20th Anniversary celebration of JP Rodrigues’s career in NYC, held in the Winter of 2021 at Roosevelt Island “The Sanctuary.”

Directed and shot in Super 8 by Lee Landell. Presented by The Glenrothes and produced by ACST Ambassador Thomas Mauriello. The Soho Playhouse and The Huron Club will host the new path of art movies of his paintings thru old formats mixing new ways as exquisite sculptures that will be presented of his career now know as -EL ConQuistaD’or.

The event will be divided in three act.

J One - Porceline, a Mixology of Worlds - A sculpture created with jeweler designer Douglas Elliot - “From the trees that honor us with carbon and oxygen that allow us to float through different paths in this ride called life; Imbued with beautiful creatures that emerge from the darkness of the fountains of hydration as a fortress mirroring the sky, deep crystallized rocks with sparkling mineral power that sculpt and enlighten a transcendental Highve path.” - EL ConQuistaD’or

P Two - Ascension Day Film directed by Lee Landell. - Lee Landell is an old friend and partner of ACST Team where they have been developing the new path of art movies of JP’s paintings.

R Three - JPR’s Lock and Roll Game - The adult amusement game with dice, keys and vintage safe created and customized created and hosted by the artist.
