Boo-Yah! A Celebration of Stuart Scott Presented by Disney & Bristol Myers Squibb
The V Foundation for Cancer Research is hosting its annual star-studded event - BOO-YAH! A Celebration of Stuart Scott presented by Bristol Myers Squibb and Disney. The evening will include a seated dinner, live auction, fund-a-need and more!
Co-hosts Hill Harper (CSI: NY) and Stan Verrett (ESPN), along with featured guests Taelor and Sydni Scott will celebrate the incredible legacy of Stuart Scott during this glamorous evening.
The event makes a significant impact on cancer research disparities through the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund. Specifically, these grants are directed to research focused on racial disparities in cancer outcomes as well as general cancer research led by scientists from underrepresented groups. Attendees will also have the chance to hear from Dr. Nita Lee and Dr. Charles Rogers to learn more about the impactful work being accomplished by the life-saving Stuart Scott Fund. With ESPN’s help, the V Foundation has awarded nearly $15 million in grants through the fund since 2015.
