Devoted mostly to abstract artists, the Chelsea Art Museum showcases exhibitions, public forums, and interactive, multi-media activities to the public. The permanent collection is dominated by work from Jean Miotte, co-founder of the museum and originator of L'Art informel,but it also holds work by many other European and Amercan Abstract artist, as well as sculpture and rare books and drawings. Closed Sun. & Mon. $8; students/seniors, $4; under 16, free.
