Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises, in association with World Yacht, presents the Rockin' the River Concert with the Fab Faux, coined "The Greatest Beatles Cover Band -- Without the Wigs" by Rolling Stone Senior Editor David Fricke.
The concert will take place at Pier 81 (W. 41st St. & 12th Ave.) on Saturday, July 30, at 8pm. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Tickets for a 1-hour "meet and greet" on the Destiny cruise ship are $90.
The Fab Faux consists of Will Lee (bassist for the CBS Orchestra on The Late Show With David Letterman); Jimmy Vivino (music director/guitarist for Conan O'Brien); lead-singing drummer Rich Pagano (Rosanne Cash, Patti Smith, Ray Davies); guitarist Frank Agnello (Marshall Crenshaw, Phoebe Snow, etc.); and ace keyboardist/guitarist Jack Petruzzeli (Rufus Wainwright, Patti Smith, Joan Osborne, etc.).
