Bonding over their common love of singing and The Beatles, they became fast friends and cut a single in one afternoon. The song immediately shot to No. 1 on the national charts, and Air Supply was born! After releasing several albums, the duo cut Life Support (1979), whose single "Lost in Love" rocketed into the Top 10 in Australia and somehow found its way to music industry executive Clive Davis in New York. He immediately signed the duo to Arista Records, and in 1980, "Lost in Love" became the fastest-selling single in the world and was named Song of the Year. The duo's second single "All Out of Love" ascended the charts even faster. Air Supply has consistently captivated audiences around the world with its live shows and continues to do so today.
