Following the critical acclaim of his runway show at Pitti Uomo, the fashion industry’s largest menswear moment, there’s no doubt that now is Todd Snyder’s time.

Since launching his eponymous brand in 2011, Snyder has dressed some of the biggest names in the world and firmly established his position as America’s leading menswear designer. Just last month, Guy Trebay, men’s fashion critic for the New York Times, referred to Snyder as “…the righteous inheritor of Ralph Lauren’s mantle.” In addition to his own brand, Synder was recently appointed Creative Director of Woolrich’s Black Label, the iconic 190-year-old American brand’s collection of sophisticated takes on heritage styles, which will launch Fall 2024.

About Todd Snyder Todd Snyder launched his eponymous menswear collection in 2011. Inspired by the craftsmanship of Savile Row tailoring, practical military detailing, and the distinct sensibility of the modern New York gentleman, the line has garnered worldwide critical and commercial praise. Todd’s recent runway show in Florence — where he was celebrated as the opening night designer for the Pitti Uomo menswear fair in January 2024 — has cemented his place as one of America’s leading menswear designers on a global stage. The recipient of many of the industry’s most prestigious awards, he has also dressed the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Sterling K. Brown, Jake Gyllenhaal, LeBron James, Dwayne Johnson, Elliot Page, Tom Holland, Oscar Isaac, Steven Yeun, Alex Rodriguez, and more.

Since his launch, the Iowa native has been honored with some of the highest accolades in fashion, including being selected as one of GQ’s Best New Designers in America, one of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists and nominated four times as a CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year, fashion’s top honor. This success is a humbling rearmation of Snyder’s roots; he first learned the art of cutting and sewing suits at the Des Moines haberdashery, Badowers, while studying at Iowa State University.

After graduating, he moved to New York in the early 90s to begin his career designing for Polo Ralph Lauren, before moving on to serve as Director of Menswear for the Gap and SVP of Menswear at J. Crew. Todd Snyder New York is a wholly owned subsidiary of AEO, Inc., and currently operates fifteen stores with five additional locations scheduled to open in 2024.
