The Butterfly Conservatory, now in its nineteenth year, opens to the public on Saturday, December 10, and runs through Monday, May 29, 2017. An annual favorite, The Butterfly Conservatory: Tropical Butterflies Alive in Winter, is eagerly anticipated by children and adults alike, and the spectacle of hundreds of live tropical butterflies is the perfect antidote to the autumn chill.

Venue Description: A museum for the 21st century, with a rich and storied past and one of the greatest natural history museums in the world, with over 40 exhibition halls. Open daily from 10am to 5:45pm except on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
