Seville’s Rafaela Carrasco is a breathtaking dancer and one of the most important flamenco choreographers of her generation. Set to a selection of popular Spanish songs originally recorded by Federico García Lorca with the flamenco star La Argentinita on vocals in 1931, Vamos al Tiroteo is directed, choreographed and performed by Carrasco and features four male dancers, a live band and two flamenco singers.
Venue Description: Built in 1943, NY City Center was Manhattan's first performing arts center, dedicated by Mayor Fiorello La Guardia.
