Add to Calendar 16-03-2012 15-04-2012 15 My Occasion Of Sin Inspired by true events that led to a race riot in Omaha, Nebraska, My Occasion of Sin is set in a segregated city in 1969. Two men from different backgrounds: Luigi, an African American jazz drummer and George, a white music store owner who specializes in the accordion, are thrown together by fate, finding common ground in their love of music. At the same time, Mary Margaret and Vivian, two young girls from opposite sides of the city, drink in the new jazz scene for reasons of their own. Music unites and uplifts everyone around, but soon violence erupts, changing everyone’s lives forever. Location: Urban Stages, 259 West 30th Street Show previews run from March 16 – March 20, 2012 on Friday at 8PM, Saturday at 3PM and 8PM, Sunday at 5PM and Tuesday at 8PM. Opens on Wednesday, March 21 at 8PM. Regular performance schedule through April 15: Wednesday – Saturday 8PM; Saturday matinee at 3PM, Sunday at 5PM. No show on March 24 at 3PM.
