Description: Fresh off the heels of his feature slot in the Ricky Powell Fall Classic Group Art Show, painter, record collector and Polo bon vivant TTK returns to White Rabbit with a team of visual artists he assembled to bring their artistic vision to the gallery. The opening ceremony for the show, titled 1Plus1Plus1 is on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, 7PM-1AM at White Rabbit, 145 E. Houston St. between Forsyth & Eldridge. Just added to the bill as minister of sound is DJ TJ Mizell, the son of Run DMC's very own Jam Master Jay. "I'm really excited they asked me to DJ for this show. The artists are so talented and my sound totally goes with their vibe. It's going to be a crazy night," TJ said.
Presented by 2'12" and ChevonMedia, the 1Plus1Plus1 gallery show will feature KlashWon, a Brooklyn based artist who combines everyday life experience with iconic cultural figures, Sam Woolley, whose work explores the dark underbelly of fame and family and TTK, a jaunty, curatorial force whose surreal, colorful paintings bend reality to the will of an active imagination. The show will run throughout April with shirts, prints and other merchandise also available for purchase. White Rabbit is a Lower East Side gallery space in New York City, complete with a full bar and kitchen, serving Latin and Asian small plates nightly. The opening begins at 7:00 P.M. with conversations about the paintings and will turn into a musical celebration of the artists and their work as the night progresses. Guests can RSVP to ArtByTTK@gmail.com. About TTK - TTK is a Brooklyn based artist with an international audience from California to South Korea.
