'Pay What You May' Day at ARTECHOUSE
Visit ARTECHOUSE NYC for "Pay What You May on Sunday, April 21, where guests can experience its current exhibition at the cost of their choosing. NYC's original home for digital art opens its doors to all New Yorkers, reinforcing the studio's mission to expand accessibility to the arts.
Currently on view through the summer, its current exhibition Aṣẹ: Afro Frequencies (Aṣẹ), is a vibrant reflection upon the past, present, and future of the Black experience, brought to life by ARTECHOUSE Studio through the perspective of London-based Afro-surrealist digital artist Vince Fraser and backed by the evocative poetry of ursula rucker.
The spirit of aṣẹ — a powerful affirmation and philosophical belief held by the Yoruba people of West Africa, meaning “so will it be” — reverberates throughout this vibrant and meditative exhibition.
