World Cup, World Cultures Celebration

On Saturday, June 13, the American Museum of Natural History’s World Cup, World Cultures Celebration invites visitors to a full day of sports-themed activities and experiences for all ages inspired by the world’s most beloved game. Highlights include opportunities for visitors ages 9 to 12 to lace up their sneakers and practice their footwork in 30-minute soccer clinics hosted by New York City FC throughout the afternoon; tune in to watch live FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches on big screens throughout the Museum, including screenings of Qatar vs. Switzerland at 3 pm and Brazil vs. Morocco at 6 pm; performances from Batalá New York, a lively Afro-Brazilian music and dance ensemble, and Samir LanGus, a Grammy-nominated musician and Gnawa artist inspired by the living heritage of Moroccan music; and additional performers representing Haiti, Scotland, and Switzerland in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life.
