SHANGRI-LA-LA, a comedy musical about Siegfried & Roy, brings Magic, Mayhem, and White Tigers to Midtown International Theater Festival (MITF) - What happens when Las Vegas glitz, showbiz ambition, white tigers, and one very strange lawsuit collide? You get Shangri-La-La, a new one-hour musical comedy inspired by the rise of Siegfried & Roy — and by actual events. Unfortunately.
With gangsters, glamour, courtroom absurdity, and enough rhinestones to blind a federal judge, Shangri-La-La pulls back the velvet curtain on the world of illusion and asks the eternal question: what happens in Vegas… if somebody writes a musical about it?
