A Conversation with Lidia Bastianich at the BHS Castle at Bayside Historical Society

Bayside Historical Society is honored to welcome to the Castle Lidia Matticchio Bastianich, Emmy award-winning public television host, best‐selling cookbook author, successful restaurateur, and owner of a flourishing food and entertainment business. Lidia will be presenting a lecture, conducting an audience Q&A, and signing copies of her latest book, "A Pot, a Pan, and a Bowl."

Lidia's Emmy-winning television series "Lidia's Kitchen," "Lidia's Italy in America," and "Lidia's Italy" have made her a household name. Her cooking shows air nationwide in the U.S. on public television and CREATE, internationally, and on various digital networks including Amazon Prime, Tubitv, and Xumo. Her cooking segments are also part of her TUTTOLIDIA YouTube channel. Lidia is a celebrated chef and restaurateur and a partner in Eataly NYC, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Dallas, Las Vegas, Toronto, and Sao Paolo, Brazil. Together with Tanya and son-in-law Corrado, she also developed a line of artisanal pastas and all-natural sauces called LIDIA'S. Lidia is a member of Les Dames D'Escoffier and founding member of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs, two non-profit organizations of women leaders in the food and hospitality industries.

Lidia has shared her love of food and family on public television for over two decades, and continues to invite you to her table. Don’t miss this chance to meet Lidia up close and in person!

You may reserve a copy of "A Pot a Pan and A Bowl" (price: $29.95) for Lidia to sign via our event registration process. The sales of all books purchased for the event will benefit Bayside Historical Society.
