Kids aged 4-17 can join Brooklyn Bridge Park for free basketball clinics led by KING Hoops, NYC’s premier youth basketball organization. Participants can learn basketball basics as head coaches lead participants through drills and games. Free clinics are held on Saturday mornings from June through August (excluding holiday weekends).

The first hour, 9-10am, will be for beginner players who are brand new to the sport. Here we will teach the very basic fundamentals of the game, the rules of the game, and getting acclimated to having a ball in each player’s hands.

The second hour, 10-11am, will be for advanced beginners to intermediate players who have played a little bit more basketball experience. Emphasis will be on ball handling, passing, shooting form, defense, and learning to love the game.
