Join Brooklyn Children's Museum and community partners for our annual Juneteenth celebration themed "I am Somebody” in Brower Park. This special commemoration features music performances by Brooklyn United Marching Band and Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, a dance performance with Brooklyn Ballet, storytelling with Brooklyn Public Library, a book giveaway with Brooklyn Book Bodega, and more.
Taking place at Shirley Chisholm Circle in Brower Park, this Juneteenth celebration is presented in partnership with Friends of Brower Park, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Brooklyn Public Library – Brower Park Library, the Crown Heights North Association, and Council Member Chi Osse.
This celebration is free in Brower Park and open to all. Brooklyn Children's Museum will be open for regular admission from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
