In The Now
"In the Now" showcases almost fifty female artists who subvert traditional ideas of gender and nationality. With seventy artworks from the Sir Mark Fehrs Haukohl Photography Collection at the Brooklyn Museum and Los Angeles County Museum of Art, it's the first museum exhibit with photographic works by women artists born or based in Europe. It explores nationalism and patriarchal power structures, illustrating how they shape everyday life for women.
Admission is free every first Saturday of the month.
