Experience an unforgettable evening of music as acclaimed violinist Melissa White and pianist Nargiz Aliyarova take the stage at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall for Melissa White’s Carnegie Hall recital debut at 7:30 pm on Thursday, June 22. Presented by the National Music and Global Culture Society, the night celebrates the 105th anniversary of Azerbaijani composer Gara Garayev. This recital will feature a mesmerizing repertoire of pieces from some of the greatest classical composers, including Amy Beach, Chopin, Brahms, and Garayev himself. Hailed as an “excellent advocate” by the Washington Post and praised as she “continues to enchant audiences around the world” (The Washington Informer,) White will be joined by the impressive Aliyarova, who critics describe as “a dynamo who combines excellent pianistic skills and artistry with her role as presenter and educator” (New York Concert Review).
