Arcadia Symphony New York Celebrates America's 250th
Arcadia Symphony presents America Celebrates 250, a concert marking America’s 250th anniversary featuring the premiere of Gershwin’s You Are My Rhapsody in Blue, alongside Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, The Stars and Stripes Forever, Ol’ Man River, and Beethoven’s Ode to Joy. Violinist Na Sun and soprano Megan Weston join musicians from the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and Philadelphia Orchestra under the direction of Michael Fennelly.
Tuesday, June 30, 8:00 p.m. Carnegie Hall Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. In honor of America’s 250th birthday, tickets are $25.
