ANISOTROPY: Form, Light, and Contemporary Abstraction at DECORAZONgallery
ANISOTROPY: Form, Light, and Contemporary Abstraction Works by: David E. Peterson · Kal Mansur · Hugo Garcia Urrutia Opening Reception: Thursday, February 5 | 5–8 PM Where: DECORAZONgallery NYC

ANISOTROPY brings together three contemporary artists whose practices explore how form, color, and light behave across surface and space. Rooted in the languages of architecture and design, the exhibition presents abstraction through material, geometry, and optical effect, creating works that are both visually striking and spatially aware.

Through luminous layered works, sculptural wall forms, and precisely constructed compositions, Peterson, Mansur, and Urrutia create a dialogue between object and environment. Their works respond to movement, reflection, and spatial context, offering viewers an experience of contemporary abstraction that feels refined, immersive, and dynamic.
