5th Annual Broadway Celebrates Earth Day Concert
Broadway will once again raise its voice for the planet with the fifth annual Broadway Celebrates Earth Day concert!
Hosted by the Broadway Green Alliance and Times Square Alliance, the free public performance serves as a marquee event for the NYC Department of Transportation’s city wide “Car-Free Earth Day.” For its milestone fifth year, the free public performance moves to one of the most recognizable stages on Earth, bringing Broadway’s voice for the planet directly to the Crossroads of the World. The event will blend performances from Broadway talent with over 100 students and performers from local schools and community groups.
The plaza will feature a special exhibit from The Climate Museum and be full of family-friendly activities from leading partners in climate advocacy, including Headcount, Materials for the Arts, and the Wildlife Conservation Society for a complete day of art meeting action.
Fans can also tune in from around the world via livestream on the Stars in the House YouTube channel.
