Workshop: Ikebana With Paula Tam at Fotografiska
Join us for a workshop in ikebana, the Japanese art of floral design. Our instructor is Ikenobo ikebana teacher Paula Tam of the Ikenobo school, the oldest and largest school of ikebana, with 560 years of history.
The first part of the workshop begins with an overview and introduction to Ikebana, the centuries-old Japanese art of flower arrangement.
In the second part of the workshop, you will carefully select from blossoms, greenery and flowers to create your own arrangement.
The class will conclude with Paula Tam working with each participant to ensure connection with the art of Ikebana to embody harmony, peace and beauty.
All materials are included, such as flowers, containers and kenzan (flower frog).
