Return of the Red Umbrellas
The Meatpacking District’s annual sign of spring - the iconic red umbrellas on Gansevoort Plaza - will be returning this year on Saturday, April 13 accompanied by an all-day celebration of activities and performances available to the public.
Enjoy a pop of red and celebrate the arrival of spring in the city with a day full of music, food and dance including complimentary custom portraits, a live performance by Graham 2 from the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, complimentary coffee and bites, a plant workshop, and more.
