16th Annual ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York

The 16th Annual ReelAbilities Film Festival will be coming to New York Wednesday, April 3 to Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The festival is the largest US showcase of International cinema dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and artistic expressions of people with disabilities. The lineup of the 16th edition includes NY and US premieres and award-winning films across lengths and genres created by and/or featuring disabled creatives.
ReelAbilities Film Festival’s mission is to promote disability inclusion and accessibility, both on and off screen. ReelAbilities is renowned for its wide-ranging international film selection, riveting conversations, professional workshops and arts events, as well as a leader in setting the highest standards of accessibility and inclusion in the film industry. The festival is a rare opportunity to put the spotlight on disabled individuals as protagonists, role models, artists and producers. The main festival hub is at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave., NYC 10023. Screenings and events are also available online, and at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, DCTV Firehouse Cinema, Chelsea Factory, Museum of the Moving Image, Jacob Burns Film Center, and other venues throughout NYC, Long Island and Westchester.
