Plucked Horizons Concert Series at Jewel Bar: The Shape of Guitar to Come
As part of a three-part concert series curated by Nicolette Todesco, the Jewel Bar at 33 Seaport Hotel is hosting a "The Shape of Guitar to Come" concert inspired by the evolving soundscape of classical guitar in the 21st century. Featuring Canadian guitarist Emmanuel Lacopo and Italian maestro Nicoletta Todesco, weaving a tapestry of sound, and blending the resonant tones of classical guitars with the electric pulse of modernity, this concert will be a sonic exploration that challenges conventions and redefines boundaries. From songs for voice and guitar to avant-garde electronic experimentation, this evening promises a harmonious fusion that bridges stylistic divides and offers a glimpse into the possibilities and future of classical guitar. For $30/person, this concert includes a welcome drink, two 30-minute musical sets, and a 20-minute intermission. The event will take place at the lounge at 33 Seaport Hotel, a new intimate boutique property managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts located in the heart of New York City’s Seaport District. The hotel’s lounge, Jewel Bar, is located right off the lobby and prioritizes an elevated cocktail program with tableside mixology and highly curated drinks paired with small, shareable plates.
