Kixby Hotel’s ‘Wildman In Residence’ Package in Celebration of Earth Day 2026
Launching on Earth Day and running through the spring season, boutique Midtown Manhattan property Kixby Hotel introduces its very own “Wildman in Residence,” in partnership with New York City naturalist, environmental educator and author, Wildman Steve Brill. Guests who book can embark on one of his legendary New York City foraging tours, where they’ll have the chance to explore the outdoors, learn about native plants, and discover the city’s hidden edible treasures, all guided by the Wildman himself.
For bookings throughout the spring, guests can explore the nature of New York’s parks both in-room and in the wild with inclusions such as: Access to Steve Brill’s full schedule of foraging tours, exploring New York’s famed greenspaces such as Central Park, Inwood Park, Forest Park and more Mushroom-inspired amenities from brands RYZE Coffee Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer’s Old Fashioned Burger, which is topped with mushrooms A reusable Kixby Hotel water bottle Access to the hotel’s custom amenity line, KIX1901, which is completely sustainable made using exclusively aluminum, bamboo, recycled paper and bioplastic
The property also features an innovative system for its shower amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) that since its rollout in late 2025, has resulted in diverting enough single-use plastic bottles to build a tower nearly twice the size of the Empire State Building.
