On Sunday July 9th, join us for a private, guided tour of the Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit at the MOMA, followed by an optional Central Park painting workshop en plien air afterward.

“To see takes time,” Georgia O’Keeffe once wrote. Best known for her flower paintings, O’Keeffe (1887–1986) also made extraordinary series of works in charcoal, pencil, watercolor, and pastel. Reuniting works on paper that are often seen individually, along with key paintings, this exhibition offers a rare glimpse of the artist’s working methods and invites us to take time to look.

After we’ve been inspired by O’keeffe’s work, we’ll have the chance to create our own landscapes during an outdoor painting workshop in Central Park with the team from Chai Tea Latte! The workshop includes:

Welcome drink - Sparkling Wine Art supplies kit: Canvas, colors, brushes, etc. A picturesque location with all the setup Instruction on creating an O’Keeffe inspired artwork All who complete the workshop will have a beautiful O’keeffe-inspired work of their own to take home. The exact location of the painting workshop will be provided 1-2 days in advance and will be within walking distance (approx. .5 miles/15 min) from the MOMA.
