The Best of Polish Composers
A concert featuring the most beautiful works by outstanding Polish composers: Fryderyk Chopin - the poet of the piano and icon of classical music; Stanisław Moniuszko - the father of the Polish National Opera; Henryk Wieniawski - one of the greatest violinists in history; Ignacy Paderewski - the most famous pianist of his time; Karol Szymanowski - the father of the 20th-century Polish music and Grażyna Bacewicz - a leading Polish composer who brought Polish classical music to the international mainstream, performed by outstanding artists.
The highlight of the program will be the performance of the amazing Kate Liu, bronze medalist of the 17th F. Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland, and performance by the Metropolitan Opera soloist Piotr Buszewski
