Del Patio De Mi Titi—Solo Exhibition by Beatriz Williams
“Del Patio De Mi Titi” (From My Aunt’s Backyard) is a solo exhibition by Beatriz Williams. This body of work serves as an avenue of connection to her birthplace, Puerto Rico. Beatriz examines Puerto Rico’s natural world, re-situating herself within the realm of its distant familiarities. The work is imbued with a sense of personal nostalgia for a place the painter simultaneously experiences in fragments and calls home. Interwoven portraiture and landscape highlight an ancestral connection accessible through the land itself. The work dissolves a perceived separation between human being and Mother Earth - a reminder of the oneness of all creation.
Public Opening Reception: April 20th, 6pm- 9pm (RSVP here: https://www.beatrizwilliamsart.com/del-patio-de-mi-titi)
Additional Gallery Hours: Sat, April 20, 10am - 3pm | Sun, April 21, 10am - 7pm
Millbrook Wine will be serving guests on the 20th.
