BREAKTHROUGH – New and Rising Japanese Artists
The works of 38 up-and-coming artists active in Japan will be gathered under the theme of "If you don't start, you can't start". The exhibition will showcase their enthusiasm to explore the possibilities in the U.S. and their unique worldview.
About Aoi Hanane, who creates meticulous and fantastic works using only a blue pen; EMI KIBAYASHI, who creates playful yet harmonious mixed media works that like symbolize Japanese culture; Akie Abe, who aims to sublimate physical complexes through art, etc. These contemporary Japanese artists are pioneering their own unique approaches to art.
Their works are filled with new challenges and possibilities. Through their art, we hope you will discover a new world and resonate with the power of these artists to create their own future.
