Orange Glou founder, natural wine sommelier and orange wine expert Doreen Winkler and Chef Tristan Kwong, formerly of Bonnie’s in Williamsburg, are pairing modern Chinese cuisine with skin-contact wines at Orange Glou on May 28-29 with sessions at 6pm, 7:15pm and 8:30pm both days. Chef Tristan Kwong, aka the Fruitsomm, blends tastes from his childhood growing up in an immigrant household in Queens with the flavors of NYC with a menu that puts modern twists on Chinese classics and celebrates the world of fruit and its prominent role in Asian culture, while Doreen will complement each dish with a delicious orange wine, showcasing their versatility and affinity with Chinese flavors.
