Join Oyate Group on May 5th as we unveil a collection of Indo-Caribbean visual artists and writers in celebration of Indian Arrival month with the exhibition: 'Indian Arrival: Indentured Survival.'
This exhibition will honor the legacy of indentured descendants, featuring visual art, short-film screenings and writers sharing their works. Participating artists include Liz Jaikaran and Nadia Misir.
The exhibition is curated by Raqeebah Zaman, an Indo-Guyanese artist based in Queens, New York.
