Young People’s Chorus of NYC Brings Borough-Wide Day of Singing to the Bronx
The world-renowned Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPC) will present its first-ever YPC Bronx Day of Singing, uniting young singers from across the borough for a powerful day of music-making and collaboration that culminates with a free community concert at 3 p.m. Led by YPC Founder and Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez and YPC’s conducting faculty, students from YPC’s School Choruses and YPC Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club will rehearse together, form relationships, learn new repertoire, and participate in workshops focused on vocal technique, performance skills, and confidence-building before presenting a community concert that showcases the achievements of Bronx youth through music.
