SPEAK UP! Festival is a curated and interactive afternoon of intergenerational LGBTQIA+, all-ages fun, showcasing voices, bodies, ideas and ways we can be together and SPEAK UP! within the current socio-political climate.
This year at Riverside Park Conservancy, we will feature a mainstage program hosted by Ben Cameron from Broadway sessions, opened by Urban Indigenous Collective, with a free Yoga class and movement for everyone- Chance to Dance: Inclusive Dance Party. Performances include MISUNDERSTOOD, New York City Gay Improv, and a keynote from Marti Cummings. Roving Shakespeare from Shakespeare Slay Fest, Opera from Opera on Tap, Carlotta-B-from-1593 from Shakespearean Cabaret, Community Karaoke Choir hosted by Sing Harlem and more!
