After Hours at the Queens Museum
After Hours, an evening of art, community, and celebration, will kick off in June with a partnership with Make the Road New York, a book talk with Bushra Rehman, and knockout live music performances from STEFA* and Las Mariquitas.
The museum galleries and cafe will be open until 9pm with activations including an immigration resource fair; a curator tour of exhibitions by Tracey Rose and Aliza Nisenbaum; open studios with artists Cameron A. Granger, Nsenga Knight, and Catalina Schliebener Muñoz; artmaking workshops for the whole family; a salsa dance class; karaoke; and food, drinks and live music performances on the museum’s doorstep in beautiful Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
