Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion
"Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" is The Costume Institute’s spring 2024 exhibition, showcasing approximately 250 garments and accessories. Spanning four centuries, the works all feature iconography related to nature, which acts as a metaphor for the fragility and ephemerality of fashion. It's also a means of exploring the cyclical themes of rebirth and renewal.
Admission is pay-what-you-wish for NY & NJ residents and college students.
