This summer, The Standard has partnered with Veuve Clicquot and acclaimed British-Nigerian artist and designer Yinka Ilori to bring his celebrated installation, Chasing the Sun, to the U.S. for the first time. Running through August 9, the project transforms The Garden into a vibrant destination for outdoor dining, golden-hour cocktails, and summer gatherings.

Following its acclaimed presentation during Milan Design Week, Chasing the Sun makes its U.S. debut in New York, immersing guests in Ilori's signature world of bold color, optimism, and community. Known globally as the "Architect of Joy," Ilori has earned international recognition for his large-scale public installations and community-centered design practice.

The activation reimagines The Garden as an open-air cultural hub, featuring seasonal programming alongside a menu of food and drinks inspired by the spirit of the installation. The collaboration reflects The Standard's longstanding commitment to creating spaces where art, design, hospitality, and community intersect.

The activation will also be paired with a speciality summer menu, with highlights including, Golden Butter Rigatoni, Prosciutto & Melon, Garden Martini, and Rich Rosé Spritz.
