Mapping Our Identity: Stamp Making
In this communal artmaking workshop, participants will come together to embellish a map of New York City with pieces of themselves. Each participant will be invited to carve out a symbol on a stamp that represents some piece of their identity to then imprint on a location in New York City that means something to them. Participants are encouraged to take their stamps home with them, and the decorated map will be hung in Art on the Block NYC’s storefront window for public viewing.
