No Place We Would Rather Be: An Evening of Textile Art
Join us on Tuesday May 16th at 6:30pm to be immersed in the whimsical world of textile artist James Hsieh’s No Place I'd Rather Be exhibit as we learn how to create our own punch needle designs from James himself! This private gallery night and crafting workshop at beautiful 28 Liberty St. will be a great way to get in touch with your innate creativity, bond with fellow art-full women and create your first punch needle design. All to benefit Art on the Ave NYC, a community-based initiative which seeks to revitalize neighborhoods by placing the work of emerging artists in vacant storefronts with a mission to provoke dialogue through art, increase accessibility, and bring communities together.
