When the restored, renovated, and renamed Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum reopened in December of 2014, the former Carnegie Mansion took on 60% more gallery space, a revamped graphic identity, and 21st-century technology ready to enhance the visitor experience in mind-bendingly innovative ways. In celebration of all that wonderful new jazz, the museum has rolled out eye-popping exhibits that span the full gamut of its remarkable collections and wide purview.
